Chance the Rapper stopped by Ellen and brought along two big guests, delivering one of his most memorable and inventive performances to date. Set in an office for a nonexistent label titled Generic Records, Chance and a lot of extras disrupt a boring meeting with some flair. Bringing his infectiously joyous energy to the show, Chance jumps on the table and begins rapping the track's anthemic hook between his smooth dance moves.

2 Chainz and Lil Wayne join the scene to perform their guest verses on the track, with Wayne sneaking in a new line into his verse, rapping, “And if that label try to stop me/I’m gon’ let ’em rob me/Yeah, right, like Ryan Lochte.” Chance also joined Ellen for a quick chat, discussing how it feels for him to make his Ellen debut, saying "I'm still shaking right now. That was so much fun."

When asked about his DIY method and label-free approach to music, he said, "I'm just trying to be an example for all the young artists that are becoming artists every day and working on their craft and trying to help them avoid the pitfalls of upper management in music, and the non-music side of music. When it's in your hands, you're self-motivated and you have the tools that are there."
