Top Dawg Entertainment and Dreamville join forces to deliver "Braille," a brooding new track from Ab-Soul and Bas. The song mysteriously appeared on the internet today, and is rumored to be from Ab-Soul's long awaited forthcoming project.

Stylistically, the song far more closely resembles Control System than Ab's last album, These Days..., possibly hinting at a return to the Los Angeles rapper's old aesthetic. Over an ominous synth and syrupy slow percussion, Soulo and Bas run amok lyrically. Towards the end, the track slows down to a new tempo, giving it an otherworldly vibe.

The release of "Braille" comes shortly after Ab shared the politically charged track "Huey Knew" and the striking accompanying video.

Of his motive for releasing "Huey Knew," Ab-Soul tells Rap Genius, "I just wanted to use this hip-hop to show that we have our eyes and ears open."

The two new tracks provide hope that his album will drop by the end of 2016, as TDE's CEO promised earlier in the year. He recently admitted, however, that the album is not finished, implicating that some last-minute tweaks need to be made.
