Do you ever find yourself listening to a song and think to yourself, “this would sound great in a movie”? I’ve got entire playlists in my iTunes dedicated to songs that would have a role in a movie – openers, closing titles, uplifting sports montages – they’ve all got their place. However, no matter how cinematic some tracks are, almost none of them measure up to the music of Woodkid. His songs are made to be seen. Which makes sense, because it turns out Woodkid is Yoann Lemoine, a really successful music video director who’s done stuff you’ve probably seen, like Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream video. Hit the jump and check out his video for “Iron,” it’s crazy. The Iron EP is really solid and eclectic, you can grab it on iTunes, but check out the title track below.
