Shortly after being reintroduced to Robert Raimon Roy with his new single, we’ve got some visuals to go a long with it. There’s a lot about this song that make it instantly appealing, especially that delivery which is impossible not to compare to AndrĂ© 3000. There’s also an off-kilter quirkiness about it, slightly less deadpan than Das Racist but still obviously present. It’s not exactly joke-rap, but there’s an element of humor that comes through even stronger on the video. Whether or not that’s a positive or a reason not to take Robert Raimon Roy seriously, that’s another discussion.
