With songs like “Wildest Moments,” Jessie Ware has made it perfectly clear that she’s capable of singing the kind of songs that could captivate stadium-sized audiences. In this new Yours Truly clip, the London singer shows a more intimate side. Watch Jessie perform a stripped down acoustic take on “Do For Love” in a flower shop.

“We walked at a brisk pace; passing strangers bundled in scarves and the evening’s promise. We turned left onto a quiet street and briefly paused in the pool of light seeping from the unassuming window of Louesa Roebuck’s flower shop. Once inside, candles cast shadows of the foraged flora: weeping green leaves, pensive mallow blooms, and honeyed magnolias. Jessie snickered and teased until the very breath that began the song, singing of love like a true romantic, surely weak-kneed and blushing. “Are lovers brave or foolish?” we asked ourselves, but never answered. The room just held us and for a brief moment, we let it.   – Amber Schadewald”
