Jack White gave the National Recording Preservation Foundation $200,000
Considering that he was named this year's Record Store Day Ambassador, the preservation of physical records is pretty important to Jack White. It's so important, in fact, that he recently donated $200,000 to the National Recording Preservation Foundation, which is a non-profit "established to preserve and make accessible the recorded sounds of the United States."
Damn, between this and him saving Detroit's Masonic Temple, Jack White is like a modern fairy godmother. Hey Jack, if you're reading this I could really use some extra money for my Kickstarter to help fund Xzibit's next album. Let me know if you can help out with ~ $300-$6,000.
