In 2010,¬†RZA and Yoko Ono played chess against each other and then performed a truly bizarre, strangely incredible song in which RZA raps from the point of view of a sperm cell, telling the story of one sperm’s struggle getting from the fallopian tube to impregnate the egg, and eventually being born into the world. Sounds weird, right? But it’s true.

Now, in support of the Children’s Literary Society, a live recording of the RZA and Yoko collab “Seed Of Joy / Life Is A Struggle” is being put out as part of a limited 10″ vinyl release. You can buy the vinyl here and find it on iTunes here.
