Recently, Pharrell paid radio host Howard Stern a visit in promotion of his new album, G I R L, and over the course of his hour-long discussion, revealed some interesting facts about his music. According to the interview, the songs that wound up on Justin Timberlake’s 2002 album, Justified, was actually meant for Michael Jackson. Of the massive hit “Happy,” Pharrell said that the song was passed on to him from Cee-Lo Green, which, in retrospect, may not have been the most lucrative decision for Cee-Lo.
