Since their debut single, British psych-pop trio Beaty Heart have exhibited an unusual whimsy in each of their releases, a disarming sense of fun and freedom guiding their lyrics, melodies, and visuals.

In their video for new single “Seafood,” the members of Beaty Heart enjoy a strange, psychedelic feast of sea creatures–a representation that’s literal and utterly surreal. It’s a vision uniquely their own and one that works primarily because the music remains so strange and wonderful, tropically-tinged pop-rock that seems to exist in a hemisphere all its own.
