Charli XCX is riding high off the success of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” currently the No. 1 song in the country, but she’s not taking a break. Today, the British singer/songwriter delivers an accompanying visual for “Boom Clap,” her new track that’s included on the official The Fault In Our Stars soundtrack.

The MTV-premiered video focuses primarily on an isolated Charli as she bounces around Amsterdam on an overcast afternoon while short clips from the movie are spliced throughout. It’s appropriately moody to match the tone of the record, and the animation employed during the hook brightens things up at just the right moments. With The Fault In Our Stars releasing nationwide this Friday, the timing of the video drop couldn’t be better. Watch “Boom Clap” in full above.
