Continuing their streak of cinematic videos, Los Angeles band Harriet marries a memorable three minutes of piano-driven, hook-heavy rock with an absurdist clip for new single “Ten Steps” that feels like a brief transmission from some modern dance instructor’s hallucinatory, tightly choreographed nightmare. “Ten Steps” (a pitched down version of which opened the video for their single “Burbank”) is sharply produced without losing its liveliness, chugging rhythm made all the more enjoyable by the video’s synchronized dance numbers.
