UPDATE (8/6/15): Yesterday morning, Mac Miller visited Hot 97 to announce the title and release date of his forthcoming album. Good A.M. is slated for a September 18 release, just over one month away.

Mac Miller’s creative experiments and side-projects have kept him busy the past few years, but his focus on his third album evidently never wavered. The rapper took to Twitter minutes ago to announce the completion of that album, his first since 2013’s Watching Movies With The Sound Off. His sophomore full-length, a left-field release that altered how critics viewed the oft-panned artist, faced off with Kanye West’s Yeezus and J. Cole’s Born Sinner the same week in June.

According to his social media comments, Mac created nine albums’ worth of material to arrive at the final product, which he heard front to back for the very first time this evening. Stay tuned for more news and browse his tweets below. The currently untitled effort will be his first since signing a major label deal with Warner Bros. for a reported $10 million last October.
