The Internet, alternately a hellpit and a source of great joy (much like most other things), has done its users a solid today. It allowed a nineteen-year-old who just celebrated her last day working at McDonald’s (congratulations, by the way), to share never-before-seen photos of Nirvana‘s first show on Twitter and thus, with the world.
MJ Pokkula’s father Tony played with Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic at that fateful 1987 house party in Raymond, Wash., and has kept the photos since. She uploaded them, and now we all have another glimpse of how it all started.
