In a recent interview with Central Track, Tony Williams shed some light on what may be coming this summer when Kanye West releases Turbo Grafx 16.

Williams is Kanye’s cousin (no, he didn’t steal the laptop) and has been a part of his journey since the beginning of Ye’s career, providing vocals on songs like “I’ll Fly Away” and “Drive Slow.”

Usually his name is spread all across the credits of Kanye’s projects. This time, however, Tony’s name can only be seen on the credits for “Waves.” He explained his absence in a recent interview, saying, “Some songs were held back for the next project. That’s where my features are.”

This is just another addition into the ongoing onslaught of information that has kept Kanye at the center of attention for nearly all of 2016. Maybe we’ll see tracks like “Nina Chop” from the original tracklist on this project, or the “Saint Pablo” track with Sampha that Ye premiered at Yo Gotti’s listening party.

Stay tuned as we wait for the rumored tour for TLOP, the final release of TLOP, and the process of name and tracklist changes that we can be sure Turbo Grafx 16 is going to undergo.
