Chance Rapper Chicago Radio

Every day, Chance The Rapper finds new ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible for independent artists to accomplish. Less than three months after making history as the first unsigned artist to perform on Saturday Night Live, he returned last week for a second performance with his hero Kanye West. Continuing his support of independent music, Chance just revealed he’ll be headlining independent radio station Power 92’s 15th anniversary concert with other Chicago rappers including BJ The Chicago Kid, Lil Bibby, and Katie Got Bandz.

“I’m finally playing The Chicago Theatre, to honor 15 years of Independent Radio,” Chance announced. For an artist who’s been working tirelessly to support his hometown and independent music, this should be a special night (especially if Chance and BJ The Chicago Kid link up to perform their incredible collab “Church”). If you’re lucky enough to be in the area for this, you can scoop up tickets on his site now.
