Questlove is one of the hardest working men in music. He performs with The Roots, which he co-founded in 1987, as the house band on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, DJs regularly, is a published author, and, if we’re lucky enough, shares incredible stories about his interaction with Prince.

In 2014, Questlove scored the Chris Rock and Rosario Dawson-featuring movie Top Five, and now we’ve learned he will provide the score for thriller/romantic drama Vincent N Roxxy. The film is directed by Gary Michael Schultz and stars Emile Hirsch, Zoë Kravitz, and Kid Cudi. According to IMDB, the movie “follws a small town loner and a rebellious punk rocker unexpectedly fall in love as they are forced on the run and soon discover violence follows them everywhere.

Vincent N Roxxy will premiere next month at the Tribeca Film Festival. In the meantime, you can remind yourself of Kid Cudi’s most recent album, Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven, here.
