Say what you will about Apple Music and Taylor Swift, but they have both proved themselves capable businesspeople (America still pretends corporations are people, until further notice).

To that end, this commercial is a sure thing. You can almost hear the boardroom meeting for this commercial—”how can we go viral?”

This is their answer: a modern, anesthetized radio hit (they censor Drake’s “Taliban” shoutout), and self-deprecation. Taylor takes a tumble, and salvages what could have been one of the most hateable Apple commercials of all time.

These two have come a long way, though. It wasn’t too long ago that Taylor was scolding Apple for not paying artists royalties. Time and money heal all wounds, I guess. Watch the commercial above.
