In May, Post Malone dropped a mixtape called August 26, a precursor to his debut album that also acted as a release date announcement. In July, Post confirmed with Zane Lowe that the album was on track to come out on August 26, and that Justin Bieber will be on it. At the time, he still sounded unsure of the title but said that he thought it will be called Stoney.

August 26 came and went, and still no Post Malone album. Granted, Post Malone has been busy on a 41-date tour with Jazz Cartier, Larry June, and FKi 1st. This weekend, Post shared a note to fans apologizing for the delay and taking blame for not getting the album done. "There's no excuse," the letter reads. "I needed everything to be perfect for y'all and I fucked up somewhere along the way."

Post says that the album is coming, the pre-order will be up soon, and the tracks are "fucking awesome." He promises not to let fans down again. Read the letter below.
