UPDATE: Frank Ocean has updated his website with new merchandise, including Blonde on vinyl and CD along with a free t-shirt (which sold out immediately). Vinyl, CDs, his Boys Don't Cry zine, air fresheners, posters, and more are available on his website here. Reports suggest that the "Black Friday sale" will only last 24 hours, so you have until midnight on Friday to purchase the merchandise.

This evening, Frank Ocean shared a photo of a vinyl copy of his new album, Blonde, on his Tumblr along with the caption "XL."

Of course, Frank Ocean releases are never simple affairs, but the post (along with a tweet from his younger brother Ryan Breaux) hints that a physical release of Blonde could be right around the corner.

In the middle of the photo, plastic packaging includes a sticker that says "B F BLACK FRIDAY," which could mean the release comes as soon as Friday, November 24. While Record Store Day will also be happening on Black Friday, their website does not list Blonde as an official release.

Frank famously finessed his way out of his Def Jam deal to independently release Blonde earlier this year and has reportedly been seeking a distribution deal for the album. His "XL" caption could be a hint that he has linked up with XL Recordings for the physical release, but nothing has been confirmed. Following the magazine pop-up shops he put together on release day, another independent pop-up release could be a possibility as well.

We have reached out to representatives with Frank Ocean and XL Recordings and will update this post with new information as it becomes available.
