Drake has been dominating popular culture for years now, and he shows no signs of stopping.

Today, Spotify shared lists revealing the most streamed artists, albums, and songs of 2016, and Drake is number one in four of the categories. He has been crowned as the most streamed artist of the year, and considering the massive sustained success of his album Views, which has spent its entire six month life in the Billboard 200 top ten, this comes as no surprise. The multi-talented Canadian has amassed a staggering 4.7 billion streams since the beginning of 2016, and with the imminent release of his new project More Life, the number is destined to grow before the end of December.

He made streaming history earlier in the year when the Kyla and Wizkid-assisted "One Dance" became the most streamed song to ever appear on Spotify. He also shattered a major Apple Music record when Views became the first album in the streaming service's history to achieve over a million streams.

Rihanna also achieved significant streaming success this year, appearing on Spotify's list as the most streamed female artist and the third most streamed artist of the year. Although her album ANTI has not had the same viral success as Views, she made much more money than Drake this year, according to Forbes. The Barbados songstress brought home $75 million in 2016 while Drake made $38.5 million. She also surpassed Beyoncé, who earned $54 million.
