Recently, Future has been dropping hints that lead us to believe he has something big on the way.

Last week, rumors of a collaborative project with Young Thug started circulating when Thug tweeted that he was thinking of "putting Future down with [his] business..." (which Future quickly retweeted) alongside a since-deleted tweet from a friend of 21 Savage's that said "Thug and Future new project sounds amazing by the way."

These rumors were bolstered by Thug bringing Future out on stage at a show in New York City. Then Thugger added fuel to the fire by posting a photo of the two together.

On the heels of these rumors, Future dropped two singles, "Buy Love" and "That's a Check" with Rick Ross to close out 2016. But, as he made clear on Twitter this afternoon, he isn't planning on slowing down in 2017. According to Zaytoven, Future has finished working on Beast Mode 16, the follow-up to his 2015 Beast Mode mixtape, so new music is ready. It's only a matter of when he decides to release it.

Seemingly gearing up to go into promo mode, Future deleted everything from his Instagram account Monday evening. This is the clearest sign yet that whatever he's planning is coming very soon.

The jury's out on whether his next move will be a joint project with Thug, Beast Mode 16, a solo project, a tour, or something else entirely that we haven't thought of—but based on these breadcrumbs, it's hard to imagine him staying quiet for long. Keep your eyes locked on that vacant Instagram account.
