The 2017 Juno Awards are tonight and early on the award for Rap Recording of the Year went to none other than Jazz Cartier. Beating out Drake, Tory Lanez, and BellyHotel Paranoia took home the award and Jazz delivered a passionate speech and Instagram post reiterating points made in the speech.

He addressed issues with Canadian radio and the Juno Awards for their lack of support of hip-hop acts and stated that they should "stop bullshitting and start playing our own on our radio so these kids don't feel the need to leave to the states in order to make it or get heard." Jazz also took time to shout out all of the other nominees as well as mentor and Canadian legend Kardinal Offishall.

Check out the Instagram post below and stay tuned to see if Jazz takes home the award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year as well.
