Would you or anyone you know be even remotely interested in a Kanye West vs. Pharrell Williams beat battle?

Swizz Beatz hopefully is going to make good on his suggestion for the next competitive beat-making showdown. As previously reported, Swizz is set to face off against Timbaland at some point after publicly challenging his fellow icon to a competition earlier this month. But on Wednesday, Swizz revealed he's already on to the next one:

The would-be competitors haven't addressed Swizz's tease just yet, but it's safe to say this theoretical (for now, anyway) event is a must-see.

West and Williams, of course, have a short but impactful history of fruitful collaborations. In fact, with Lupe Fiasco, they made up the short-lived supergroup Child Rebel Soldier. The collective only put out two songs: "Us Placers" and the remix to N.E.R.D.'s "Everyone Nose"—the latter of which, along with its Hype Williams-directed video, is a true classic:
