Rich Chigga has had a huge year. Since releasing his viral hit “Dat $tick” in March of 2016, the Indonesian teen has become one of hip-hop’s most promising young artists. He’s linked up with big-name acts like Young Thug, Diplo, the legendary Ghostface Killah, and, most recently, 21 Savage, who hopped on Chigga’s latest self-produced track “Crisis.”

Now, nearly a month after “Crisis” was released, the 18-year-old rapper has given fans the record’s official music video. The James Defina-directed visual is kept pretty simple in terms of concept: Chigga and Savage are shown inside what appears to be an abandoned warehouse, rapping in front of florescent lights and a muscle car.

This collaboration may have surprised some fans, as Savage initially expressed his doubts about his song-mate in the now-famous “Rappers React to Rich Chigga” video.

“They deadass serious? I don’t know what they hell they was thinking. He got a goddamn fanny pack on. Hell no,” the Issa Album artist said while watching the “Dat $tick” video. “[The record] is all right. The music don’t match him, though, but it’s all right.”

Chigga is now gearing up for an even bigger year. In February, he will perform at 88rising’s immersive live experience, Double Happiness. The three-day event will kick off Feb. 7 in San Francisco, and then will move Feb. 10 to Los Angeles, and wrap up Feb. 20 in NYC. You can learn more about the event here.

But that’s not all. According to his team, Chigga will also drop his highly anticipated debut project in February. Stay tuned as more information about it becomes available.
