DRAM has returned with new music. Last night, the Virginia singer dropped off a brand new three-track EP called That's a Girls Name (DRAM's birth name is Shelley). It's an exciting new direction for DRAM, a smooth transition into hip-hop and soul music. The grinning "Cha Cha" DRAM is nowhere to be found—he's been replaced by someone dressed head to toe in silk, a man capable of sly, seductive verses, who knows that "your girl gives the best hugs."

You can listen to the surprise project on streaming services or via YouTube below.

DRAM's debut studio album Big Baby DRAM, led by hit song "Broccoli" with Lil Yachty, dropped back in October of 2016. The project also boasted appearances from Young Thug and Erykah Badu. There's no official word on when the next full-length DRAM project will arrive, but this EP is an exciting development. He's trying new things, and it's working.
